HASHIM AMLA announces retirement from international cricket:-

This year is like year of retirement.so many legends announces retirement from international cricket.Yesterday,veteran South Africa legend Hashim Amla announced his retirement from international cricket.In his statement he said,

"Firstly,all glory and thanks to the almighty for granting me this proteas journey which has been nothing but a joy and privilege.I  learnt many lessons during this incredible ride,made many friends and most importantly shared in the love of a brotherhood called #proteafire."

"I would like to thank my parents for their shadow over me that enabled me to play for years under the protea sun."

"Also,my family,friends and agent,my team mates and every member of the support staff throughout this incredible journey.A heartfelt thank you to every one of you!"

"The fans for energizing me when times were tough and for celebrating with me when we succeeded together.Siyabonga South Africa!"

"And of course a very special thank to the president and the board of cricket south africa.not forgetting the chief executive Thabang Moroe , and his administrative team.I really appreciate all the opportunities and am truly grateful."

TEST:- He played 124 test matches and score 9282 runs with an average of 46.41 . He hit 28 centuries and 41 fifty in his test career.

ODI'S:- He played 181 one day international matches and score 8143 runs with an average of 49.47 .He hit 27 centuries and 39 fifty in his odi career.

T20I:- He played 44 t20i and score 1277 runs with an average of 33.61 . Highest score is 97 in T20 international cricket.

MILESTONES AND RECODS:-

1.Fastest player to reach 2k,3k,4k,5k,6k and 7k runs in ODI'S.
2.First south african batsman to score a triple century in test matches.
3.First south african batsman to score 25 centuries in ODI'S.
4.Fourth cricketer to score 25 centuries in both Test and ODI.
